Bringing Worship Services to residents at Friendship South
Covenant Church is honored to visit Friendship Health & Rehab Center South, 5647 Starkey Road, Roanoke, Va., 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 2 PM.
We lead a service with Bible lessons, preaching, and visit residents. Services are held in Dining Room 1.
If you, your family, or your friends are resident at Friendship South, we invite you to join us in joyfully worshiping our Risen Lord!
We support and work with St. Lazarus Mission to provide these services at Friendship South.
Helping at RAM House
Our newest outreach effort is fixing meals quarterly at Roanoke Area Ministries (RAM).
We were inspired to help at RAM House by our very own Aaron Levine, who is their weekend dishwasher and kitchen custodian. He received an Impact Volunteer Award at their 50th Anniversary Celebration on October 26, 2023. See the article in the Roanoke Times.
Donating Cuddly Critters
We support children who come to the Emergency Room at Carillion Hospital in Rocky Mount. Our donations of stuffed animals work wonders in calming children who are going through a traumatic experience.
